Why use co-hosting as a format?

Introducing a co-host is a great way to engage others on your team with your podcast. This format allows you to grab a co-worker, get creative, and share the fun of recording.

Use this template as a general guideline for your next episode, or in addition to any of our other scripts.

Hi there and thanks for joining. We are your hosts, [name] and [name], and this is another episode of [podcast name]. 

Today, we're excited to talk about [topic].

Introduction boosts

• Recap of the last episode—here’s what you missed
• Encourage commenting—ask for feedback from your listeners
  

First section: Set the stage

Offer 2-3 talking points to get the conversation rolling

Examples of talking points

• An important company milestone
• Feedback from your customers
• A big win or a shared accomplishment
  

Second section: Dig into your topic

Examples of talking points

• Ask your co-host how they feel about the topic
• Share any feedback that you've heard from others on your team

Third section: Takeaways and parting thoughts

Examples of talking points

• Ask your co-host to share the takeaways from your conversation
• Tell listeners how they can learn more about the topic
